ABOUT L.M. Hannah

I was raised by a strong single mother. My mother was widowed when I was ten years old. She raised my sister and myself to be strong women. From my mother's family I inherited my storytelling abilities. I grew up with wonderful stories of my great grandmother and grandfather.

I too am a Single mother. I am so proud of my daughter Amanda who just graduated with her degree in teaching from a proximate Ohio University. She is the first in our family to receive her four year degree. Though I am not far behind her.

As an author I do not consider myself as a writer, although that may seem like a contradiction in terms. A writer is someone who understands grammar and has excellent sentence structure. I am not a writer. I am a storyteller. Among my ancestral people, The Romany, storytellers were highly prized for the abilities to keep people entertained and pass down the oral history.

One piece of information I would like to confer to my readers. I have a learning disability. I was told at a young age to give up writing because I am Dyslexic/Dysgraphic. Never did I allow those words to stop me. Yes you will see some mistakes that I have missed in the works. But I will never stop writing nor will I stop believing in my dream to be a writer.

If you can dream it you can do it!!!!
